Good morning!
I am so happy you are here. This post marks the beginning of a new chapter for our family business. For years, we have run our property management venture, "Lyon Prospectors," named after the historic mining legacy of Prospector Avenue in Park City, Utah, where our Airbnb apartments are located. While hosting guests in Park City has been a joy, I am thrilled to invite you into a newer, more personal endeavor: Lyon Care.
Our Family Story
The Lyon family was officially established in 2020. My husband, Pete, has been the miracle in my life since that year. Our household is a lively, loving mix that includes his daughter, Shyloh, my son, Phil, and our official mascots—Freya, our small Bengal cat, and Sydney, our beautiful Siamese.
We are constantly evolving. This week, our home feels particularly full as my tech-savvy son, Andrew, and his girlfriend, Tati, arrive from Kansas. We are preparing for a camping trip near the San Rafael Swell to welcome them, and I’m sure the dogs and the cats will have plenty to say about the adventure!
Why "Lyon Care"?
The name Lyon Care felt right the moment it came to me. It links our business to our family name, but it also speaks to the core of what I value: strength and potency. I wanted to pay homage to the Earth—the source of the ingredients I am so passionate about—while focusing on a holistic way of living. For me, care isn’t just about the skin; it’s about nurturing the spirit, the mind, and the body.
My own journey has been deeply shaped by my faith, my love for my son Phil,
and my experience raising eight amazingly diverse children. From my time living abroad in Germany to my background in opera and language, I have always felt a deep pull to love and understand people from all walks of life.

This forum is not a place for sales pitches directed at my immediate family and friends—I hope you already know how much I love you through our personal connections! Instead, this space is for those interested in the art of what I’m building.
