Hello, beautiful Lyon Care friends!
I recently came across some fantastic techniques for eye care that I couldn’t wait to share. I’ve been applying my Hibiscus & Chrysin Eye Cream and Peachy Vitamin K Eye Oil using these methods, and the difference is remarkable. Inspired by the teachings of Parmita (from Blush with me), here are five tips to help you get the most out of your eye care ritual:
-
Precision Placement: Using your ring finger, gently dab small amounts of cream around the orbital bone (the cheek bone area) and just under the brow. Avoid applying product directly to the delicate eyelid skin.
-
Stability for Crow’s Feet: To address crow’s feet, use one hand to support and stabilize the skin, then use your other hand to perform gentle, upward strokes.
-
Strategic Strokes: Support the side of your eye near the temple with one hand. Using your ring finger, make gentle strokes from the outer corner of the eye toward the center. Continue this motion below the brow and add a few strokes above it—just be careful to avoid the crow’s feet area directly.
-
Cooling Massage: Use your Cold Steel Roller Vitamin K Eye Oil to massage and soothe the skin along the under-eye bone, moving from the center of the eye outward toward the temple.
-
Upper Lid Care: For the upper eyelid, I recommend using a simple Aloe Gel or our Aloe and Flax Seed Gel. Apply it with gentle tapping motions rather than stroking, which respects the sensitivity of that area.
